Associate Director – New Business Strategy

As an Associate Director in the New Business Strategy team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping investment operations across the EMEA region. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee the launch and execution of new business initiatives, from funds to bespoke investment strategies.

You will work closely with senior leaders to manage onboarding and ensure the execution of key operational activities. Your expertise will be crucial in overseeing the launch of complex funds, separately managed accounts (SMAs), and strategic transactions, focusing on risk management and scalability.

At this investment firm, you will collaborate with internal teams, external providers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution across the board.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead pre-launch setup, ensuring operational readiness, scalability, and risk management, especially for new or EMEA-specific strategies.
• Collaborate with Operations and tech teams to establish data feeds and manage client relationships for timely launches.
• Work with teams to document and manage processes for new instruments and complex transactions.
• Oversee the integration of people, funds, SMAs, and assets during M&A activity, ensuring seamless transitions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Senior experience in a complex financial services environment.
• Strong commercial mindset and ability to address operational challenges.
• In-depth knowledge of fund structures and the European regulatory framework.
• Familiarity with ISDAs, Clearing Agreements, and trading agreements.
• Proven project management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
