Job advert: Head of Responsive Works

Location: London

Day rate: £600 inside IR35

Our client is seeking a driven in Head of Responsive Works to join their team, reporting into their director of residential services. This is the ideal role for someone with a strong background in managing a team within social housing repairs.

Key responsibilities:

• To lead the Residential Services operational Teams to achieve continuous improvement in the delivery of services and value for money.
• Ensure all enquiries are responded too efficiently and effectively
• Manage a team of supervisors in the the delivery, inspection, scheduling, ordering and post inspection of planned works
• Manage and monitor subcontractors when engaged in carrying our work on the company’s behalf.
• Manage and monitor the cost and use of materials

Client requirements:

• Prior experience leading a multi-disciplinary team
• Relevant experience in social housing repairs
• Able to manage budgets and apply risk assessments
• Able to drive and hold a full driving licence
• Working knowledge of asbestos policy and procedures
• HND / Degree or equivalent qualifications or experience in a construction related subject.
