Institutional Sales Manager
Location: Muscat, Oman
Goodman Masson are exclusively partnering with an Asset Management firm in Muscat, Oman. They currently require an Institutional Sales Manager to play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth and building lasting relationships within the GCC’s institutional market.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management

  • Develop and execute strategies to expand institutional client relationships across asset management and brokerage offerings.
  • Act as the primary contact for key clients, including banks, pension funds, insurance companies, corporates, and family offices, ensuring their satisfaction and long-term engagement.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales strategies with overarching business objectives.

Sales Management & Business Development

  • Identify and engage prospective institutional clients by leveraging market insights and industry networks.
  • Promote the firm’s asset management products (mutual funds, portfolios) and brokerage services, achieving revenue and profitability targets.
  • Lead and mentor a team of junior sales professionals, fostering a results-driven culture.

Market Expertise

  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the firm’s offerings and market trends to position products effectively.
  • Stay updated on regulatory developments and competitive dynamics to seize new opportunities.

Collaboration & Compliance

  • Partner with internal teams, including portfolio managers and research units, to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
  • Ensure all transactions and client activities comply with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Prepare detailed sales and performance reports for senior management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related fields (Master’s or CFA preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in institutional sales within asset management or related sectors.
  • Strong network and established relationships within the GCC institutional market.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
