Project Operations Manager

G-NIUS is exclusively partnering with an international automotive leasing business based in Dakar, Senegal. They currently require a Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis. In this position you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations and ensuring client satisfaction. The role involves coordinating with car dealers, insurance companies, and banks, managing overdue cases, and handling administrative tasks. You will also be responsible for supporting expansion into new locations across Africa and building relationships with infrastructure partners and government authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee office operations, ensuring efficient processes and high client satisfaction (NPS).
• Manage relationships with car dealers, insurance companies, and service providers for vehicle repossession, storage, and resale.
• Handle default cases and ensure proper vehicle management.
• Coordinate with banks and finance teams to maintain stable financial operations.
• Support administrative tasks and communications with stakeholders.
• Assist in business development and expansion projects across Africa.
• Communicate with government and administrative authorities for business processes.

Requirements:

• Experience in the automotive or related sector, with an understanding of the new and used car markets.
• Familiarity with VTC (vehicle-for-hire) business specifics.
• Strong communication skills and experience dealing with government authorities (e.g., registration, insurance, tax).
• Willingness to travel and manage operations in other African countries.
• Experience leading teams and launching new products.
