Repairs Coordinator – Join BD Reside in Partnership with Goodman Masson

Goodman Masson is delighted to be partnering with Barking & Dagenham Reside Regeneration Ltd (BD Reside) to recruit a Repairs Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to ensure efficient management of repair works while delivering a high-quality service to residents.

About the Role

As a Repairs Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing no-access cases, tracking Damp & Mould (D&M) and Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) cases, and supporting the wider repairs team. You will work closely with contractors and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective repair delivery while maintaining compliance and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Manage and monitor no access cases, ensuring timely rebooking and completion of repairs.
✔ Track and coordinate Damp & Mould (D&M) and HHSRS cases, supporting compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
✔ Collaborate with contractors, surveyors, and housing officers to resolve repair issues.
✔ Support complaints handling and resident liaison.
✔ Maintain accurate records of repair works, follow-ups, and resolutions on internal systems.
✔ Act as a point of contact for residents, providing updates and support on repair cases.
✔ Coordinate access arrangements to minimise disruption and improve access rates.
✔ Communicate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders.
✔ Track KPIs and performance targets, ensuring high service standards.
✔ Prepare reports on D&M and HHSRS cases, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
✔ Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and housing standards.
✔ Maintain and update repairs databases with accurate case logging.
✔ Support the scheduling of inspections and follow-ups.
✔ Assist with meetings and minute-taking.
✔ Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager.

What We’re Looking For:

✔ Experience in repairs coordination, housing management, or property maintenance.
✔ Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
✔ Excellent communication and customer service skills, with experience liaising with residents and contractors.
✔ Knowledge of Damp & Mould (D&M) and HHSRS regulations.
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

✔ Experience using housing repairs systems.
✔ Knowledge of housing legislation and regulatory frameworks.
✔ Previous experience in a social housing or local authority setting.
