Strategic Asset Manager
Rate: £50k - £60k

Role Purpose:
As Strategic Asset Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of a robust asset management strategy for our social housing portfolio. Focusing on safety, compliance, and sustainability, you’ll ensure properties are fit for purpose and provide excellent value for money.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver asset strategies aligned with compliance, sustainability, and organisational goals.
- Conduct stock condition surveys and identify underperforming assets for improvement or redevelopment.
- Manage capital investment budgets and ensure performance and financial targets are met.
- Lead a team of asset management professionals and foster collaboration across departments.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards, including decarbonisation initiatives.
- Engage with residents to incorporate their feedback into asset strategies.
Qualifications and Experience:

Essential Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant field (Asset Management, Surveying, Housing Management).
- Membership of RICS, CIOB, CIH, or equivalent professional body.
- Evidence of continued professional development in asset management.

Experience:
- Strong background in strategic asset management within social housing.
- Proven experience managing capital investment programmes and budgets.
- Expertise in housing legislation, building safety, and sustainability initiatives.

- Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
- Analytical skills with proficiency in asset management systems.
- Commitment to net-zero targets and customer-focused service delivery.
